Reckless Love

[Intro]
G#m F# E B

[Verse 1]
G#m                     F#                             E
Before I spoke a word, You were singing over me.
G#m                F#               E
You have been so, so good to me.
G#m                    F#                                 E
Before I took a breath, You breathed Your life in me.
G#m                  F#          E
You have been so, so kind to me.

[Chorus]
         G#m                F#                  E                     B
Oh the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God
         G#m                   F#                          E                        B
Oh, it chases me down, fights ’till I’m found, leaves the ninety-nine.
           G#m                     F#                      E                   B
I couldn’t earn it. I don’t deserve it. Still, You give yourself away.
          G#m                F#                 E                    B
Oh the overwhelming, never-ending, reckless love of God

Chorus

Bridge
G#m                                    F#
There’s no shadow You won’t light up,

                             E                             B

Mountain You won’t climb up, coming after me.
G#m                               F#
There’s no wall You won’t kick down,

                        E                                 B

No lie You won’t tear down, coming after me.

      1. As Nina so kindly noted – Key of B 🙂

You can usually almost always tell what key a song is written in based on the very last note.

Though there are unusual exceptions – most of the time the last note of the song is always the key it is written in.

Last note is b … also written in b :).

Hope it helps! Once my grandma showed me this trick … it was sooooooo much easier to find the key of each & every song!
